Redesign Character from TV or Film
(Dwayne Douglas Johnson)
This character was redesigned in my own style, inspired by some of my favorite film characters. The character had to be a minor figure, not even an animated one.
Writing for character Design 1
(Camila chamomile)
This character was designed based on a written description provided by a classmate. The objective was to interpret the narrative as accurately as possible and translate it into a visual design that captured the essence of the story.
Writing for character Design 2
(Hector)
This character was designed based on a written description I created about a Panamanian student named “Bewy.” The goal was to accurately interpret the narrative and develop a visual concept that captured the essence of the character’s story, personality, and cultural background.
Anthropomorphic character
(Wonder Woman)
To design this character, I was tasked with selecting a well-known movie character and reimagining her as an anthropomorphized figure. I chose Wonder Woman and transformed her into a cat, focusing on preserving the key visual elements that define the original character. The goal was to maintain her recognizable traits such as color palette, costume details, and iconic symbolism while adapting them to fit an animal form.
non-anthropomorphized character
(Puss in Boots)
To create this character, I selected an anthropomorphized character and redesigned him as a human. I chose Puss in Boots and reimagined him as a human character, focusing on preserving his adventurous spirit, charm, and iconic elements like his hat, boots, and sword. The goal was to translate his feline personality and visual identity into a believable human form, while preserving the essence of the original character.
Character from Written description
(Alex Montgomery)
This character was designed from a description written by the teacher and selected by the students. This was based on the research process for the selected person.
